I’ve got a whoppin’ four minutes of new material to try out at Giggles tonight, w00t. I’m especially looking forward to trying one particular new bit that’s a full two minutes long. A less foolhardy comic might try the premise out, first, before committing to also run out its full gauntlet of tags and toppers1… but folks, I am just that crazy. It will either be great or horrible—and either way, entertaining.

I’ve got a post planned for tomorrow that follows up on Thursday’s entry about gimmick acts, taking into account some of the feedback I received in the comments. We’ll delve a bit deeper into stage persona vs. characters vs. gimmicks, and I’ll generally try to be less wrong. See you then.

UPDATE: After waiting for half an hour—in a thunderstorm—I reluctantly concluded that the last bus of the evening wasn’t going to come, and have returned home. I hate Sundays!
