In the spirit of not taking things for granted anymore: I love the Internet.
Forget the commercial and scientific revolutions it has fostered; our caveman grandparents could never have dreamed of all the brilliant new ways of goofing off and making each other laugh that are now at our disposal.
Here’s a case in point. While I have a soft spot in my heart (ahem) for Bonnie Tyler’s Total Eclipse of the Heart, I had never seen the batshit crazy video until recently. Its full-on bizarreness is done glorious justice in the finest work to date from the Literal Video people:
The whole thing is great, with the best jokes building to a crescendo after about the 4:00 mark.
Being a nerd, I’m also a big fan of humor that makes use of charts and graphs—the best example being rap songs represented in mathematical charts and graphs. Here’s one for Total Eclipse of the Heart:
