The Stranger, Seattle’s beloved, edgy, supergay alternative weekly, just posted a rave about Daniel Tosh’s new Comedy Central show, Tosh.0, and I’m here to hop on the bandwagon with both feet.

Tosh is a first-rate stand-up comedian, and his perspective and delivery are perfectly suited for a show in which he surveys the Internet and mocks everything he finds. It’s like The Soup for the Web, but funnier and more disturbing. Case in point: a recent segment featuring a nude 80′s Demi Moore that skyrocketed to #1 on the Google Trends list. After watching this video from the show, check over here to see what was blurred out (NSFW).

See? Funny, and a bit frightening.

One of my favorite recurring segments is called Web Redemption, in which Tosh travels to visit the erstwhile star of some unfortunate viral video. The former laughingstock is then given a chance to redeem themselves, as in this segment with Miss Teen South Carolina:

Sweet holy hell, she’s hot. Anyway. Tosh.0: two thumbs up. Check it out.
