King of Pop? More like king of popping pills.
King of popping young boys in the face with his boner.
Thank you, thank you, be sure to tip your waitress, I’ll be here all week.
This is obviously fertile comedian territory that has been covered many, many times before. This take by Katt Williams is my favorite (he gets to MJ at about a minute fifteen):
For those in search of a more thoughtful take, check out David Shenk on what to do when your greatest work is behind you.

this may not be the best blog to post this comment, but seeing as how it is your most recent… i have to say you are a very good writer. you do a good job of keeping your blog interesting with your writing style and your eloquence. you should take larissa up on that offer to write for her husbands website if you still game at all. he really needs good writers that know gaming for his website. check it out http://www.mmofury.com

Dan, thanks so much for the kind words. I used to game so much that it makes me feel a little sad to admit that I’ve stopped—like a part of me has died, in a way. I fondly remember the week’s worth of 16 hour days I lost to Medieval: Total War, and all the FPS tournaments I used to enter (I once beat the stuffing out of an iD Software employee, in a Q3:A 1-on1, at a Quakecon!). Unfortunately, my X-Box has been dark for 2+ years now, and it’s been even longer than that since I fired up a PC game. I’d feel like a total fraud. But thanks for thinking of me, and for the link—I’ll definitely check it out.
