I realize I’ve been pretty scarce lately, and in retrospect I should have popped in to say that I’d be taking a brief hiatus. I really appreciate the messages I got asking me what’s up; it made me feel good to know that if I dropped off the Internet, or the Seattle comedy scene, that I might be missed. Thank you!
Unfortunately, I don’t have any fun or tragic stories this time—no face-mangling bike accidents or anything like that. It’s been a pastiche of little things all coming to a head at once: a need to pay for the aforementioned dental work, a long dormant project come back to life, the birth of my first nephew… and, of course, there was a girl. Isn’t there always?
All of which is to say that I’m sorry… I’ve just been really busy. 
I didn’t stop writing new material, though, and I look forward to getting back into the swing of things. Regular blogging will resume shortly, and I look forward to reconnecting with my comedian homies at the clubs later this week.
