It’s time once again for the annual Comic-Con, which is not about the comedian type of comics; it’s more like the ultimate Star Trek Convention for nerds of every nerdly variety. It also means that geeks everywhere are leaking into their superhero Underoos over the latest strategic leaks from the marketing departments of enormous corporate conglomerates. The big news yesterday was that Sam Raimi (the Spider-Man and Evil Dead guy) will be directing a World of Warcraft movie.
I started trying to think of some clever things to say about this, when I remembered that The Onion already covered Warcraft much better than I ever could:
